At long last, construction of our new fire station has been completed. Noon Saturday, October 18th we had our ribbon cutting ceremony, dedication and BBQ along with some entertainment provided by some of our local musicians. The success of this 2 year project was due in large part to the hard work and dedication of our city maintenance supervisor and Fire Chief Terry McDaniel along with many grateful hours of volunteer labor provided by our local citizens, Kansas Rural Water, and even help from outside of town.
